100% Exchange Policy

We offer a 100% Lifetime Exchange for products sold exclusively in India, subject to evaluation by our quality assurance department.

• Eligibility: Customers can exchange their purchased items for other products from our collection of equal value, equivalent to 100% of the original selling price. Bespoke items are not eligible for exchange.
• Redemption Period: Credits toward the new item must be redeemed within 7 days of receiving them.
• Single Item Exchange: Customers must select one new item equivalent to 100% of the exchange value. Multiple products cannot be purchased under the exchange.
• One-Time Exchange: Each customer is permitted one exchange in their lifetime. Once an item is exchanged, it cannot be exchanged or returned again.
• Condition of Items: Items that have been previously fixed or altered by anyone other than Friendly Diamonds do not qualify for exchange. Any alterations by another jeweler will void the exchange and warranty.
• Product Integrity: The product must be free from damage, wear and tear, alteration, or similar modifications. The decision of the quality assurance department will be final and binding for all lifetime exchange and buy back requests.
• Exclusions: Custom-built bespoke items and gift cards do not qualify for exchanges or buybacks.
• Amount exceeding exchange value: In case the exchange value is higher than the value of the old product, the customer will have to pay the difference.

Buyback Policy

We provide a Buyback Program for products sold exclusively in India within the first year of purchase, subject to evaluation by our quality assurance department.

• Gold Value: Customers will receive 100% of the gold value based on the prevailing market price at the time.
• Diamond Value: Customers will receive 80% of the lab-grown diamond value based on the prevailing market price at that time.
• Labour Charges: Labour charges will be fully deducted from the buyback value.
• Timeline: Requests for buybacks should be initiated within the first year of the purchase.
• Discounts: In case of any discounts given during the original purchase, an equivalent amount shall be deducted from the market value of lab-grown diamonds.
• Tax: The refund amount will exclude all applied taxes at the time of purchase.
• Exclusions: Custom-built bespoke items and gift cards do not qualify for exchanges or buybacks.
• Buyback Payments: All payments for the buyback value paid by the company will be made through RTGS or NEFT only. Payments shall be made only to the person/entity mentioned in the invoice issued by the Friendly Diamonds and carrying a valid government issue photo ID.
• Product Integrity: The product must be free from damage, wear and tear, alteration, or similar modifications. The decision of the quality assurance department will be final and binding for all lifetime exchange and buy back requests.
• Payment Timeline: Payments under the buyback policy shall be done within 21 business days after receiving the product at our registered office.

General Notes (Applicable to Lifetime Exchange and Buyback Policy)

• Shipping Costs: Customers are responsible for shipping charges to return the product to our Mumbai office or to our official brand store. However, the replacement product will be shipped free of charge from our end.
• Certificate Requirement: Ensure to include the diamond or jewelry certificate with your product, whichever is applicable. Failure to include the certificate will result in a deduction of ₹2500 from the value.
• Final Decision: The final decision regarding the exchange or buyback policy rests with the Friendly Diamonds team. This includes factors such as quality check assessment and order value.

How It Works: A Step-by-Step Guide

1. Contact Us: Reach out to our Customer Service Team at india@friendlydiamonds.com to initiate the exchange or buyback process. Ensure the product is in its original condition with intact packaging.
2. Shipping & Quality Check: Send the product to our Mumbai office or our official brand store. It will undergo a thorough quality check by our team.
3. Receive Credits or Refund: Once the product passes the quality check, a credit (in the case of an exchange) or the buyback amount will be initiated for the customer.
